Fundraiser Round-Up

This past weekend SEBC hosted a yard sale and Potato and Salad Bar Fundraiser. Thank you to everyone who donated to the yard sale! We ended up with so. much. stuff! It was amazing. We sold $968 worth of your stuff which will go to the Children’s Program for sprucing up the Sunday School rooms and buying new supplies and toys. Thank you also, to everyone who helped set up-I won’t name them because I’ll probably forget someone! Thank you to those who were able to help on the actual day-big shout out to the Meris family who were all present on Saturday from start to finish and hauled away all the excess stuff to Goodwill. Thank you to Lathan Meris, who volunteered to hold a sign at the end of the road to entice unsuspecting motorists to visit our yard sale!

The Potato and salad Bar Fundraiser raised $1068 for our church’s mission trip to Brunswick, Georgia this summer. Thank you to everyone who helped with the whole process. I witnessed Garrett washing at least 1,889,338 potatoes on Friday before he began hauling stuff up from the basement for the yard sale set-up. Shout out to the youth who helped set up and serve. This mission trip is open to everyone and hopefully this money will help off-set some of the $200 cost.

This weekend is a testament to what our church can do when we gather together and get stuff done! Thank you again to everyone who helped, participated and even ate this weekend!
