Since the early days of the church, God’s people have made preparation for the Christmas celebration. Advent was established for this very reason … to celebrate the great day on which our Savior was born. Advent, this time of preparation, begins on the fourth Sunday before Christmas Day, and ends on Christmas Eve. But the Christmas celebration does not conclude at midnight on December 25th! In fact, the “twelve days of Christmas” are just beginning. The great festival of Epiphany is celebrated January 6th, to honor the visit of the Magi to Christ. This devotional guide was prepared to help you and your family in your celebration again of the birth of our Lord. Put careful thought, prayer and effort into the preparation of each devotion, and each devotion will help prepare you for the finest Christmas you have ever experienced. May God truly Bless you and yours during these days! With Care, Jim Wayne |
