The adult Bible studies have a variety of curriculum ranging from the Bible Book Commentary Series from Lifeway to the Formation Series from Smyth and Helwys publishers. From time to time, some of our classes do book studies to enhance their knowledge of important life issues. Also in the adult department, we have women’s classes and men’s class and co-ed classes. We believe that Bible study is important as we grow as a community of believers. Bible study helps us reach out to the community to share God’s love and truth with our world.

Sunday School (9:00am)

Be Ye Kind One To Another (Ephesians 4:32) We are a group of mature ladies who enjoy learning, serving and fellowshipping together. Visiting and caring for members who are homebound is one way we serve our Lord by being true to our class name. Likewise, our homebound members contribute greatly through their prayers and encouragement. We use the lecture method of teaching while encouraging discussion to enhance our understanding of the scriptures. Currently, we are using the Explore the Bible series, a guide to expository learning.

HOPE Sunday Study Class

We are an active group of older adults participating in many church activities. At present, we are studying the Formations series by Smith and Helwys Publishers. Each lesson is based on scripture and how it is helpful in our daily Christian walk.

Joy Bible Study Class

The Joy Bible Study Class is made up of ladies of any age who love to discuss and learn God’s word. We support each other, our church and our community with prayer and service.

Men's Fellowship Class

If you like a class that you can participate in exciting discussions concerning the scriptures, then this is the class for you! We are currently using the Explore the Bible series, a guide to expository learning. Our class is mostly comprised of retired senior men (60+) and we are always supporting various mission projects and benevolence needs, both local and abroad.

Living Stones Class

We are a friendly, supportive class of mature adults who would welcome new members to our class. We believe in studying God’s word and the power of prayer. We pray for each other regularly. We also pray for our church and community on a regular basis.

One of the definitions for frontline is “the most advanced, responsible or visible position in a field or activity.” Our class encompasses young adults who are striving to make mature followers of Jesus Christ so that our church can continue to be a viable and growing part of the southeast Guilford community now and in the future. Come and join us as we study people in the Bible and discuss how their lives relate to our lives today and how they dealt with similar situations. The discussion that takes place in this class is unsurpassable!
